WNBA Arcade is committed to making this site usable by as many people as possible, including fans who use assistive technology like screen readers, keyboard navigation, or browser zoom/high-contrast modes.

What We've Done

Semantic structure: Pages use meaningful headings, labels, and landmarks so screen readers can navigate content in a logical order.
Keyboard access: Game modes, menus, and links are operable without a mouse.
Color contrast: Text and interactive elements are checked against WCAG contrast guidelines.
Alt text: Images and player photos include descriptive alt text where feasible.
Responsive design: The site adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels without losing functionality.

Known Limitations

Some game modes rely on visual pattern recognition (like Paint mode or the Quiz Spin wheel) that may be harder to use with a screen reader. We're working to improve these over time.
