Vandersloot left Gonzaga as the first Division I player, men's or women's, to reach 2,000 points and 1,000 assists, after breaking the NCAA single-season assist record as a senior. She became the Sky's all-time leading scorer and set the WNBA's single-game assist record with 18, and in 2021 she and wife Allie Quigley became the first married couple to win a championship together in a major U.S. sport. A stretch in New York interrupted her Chicago run, but she re-signed with the Sky in 2026.
