Rupert was Las Vegas's 12th overall pick in 2021 and won a championship ring with the Aces in 2022 as a rotation big. She sat out the 2024 WNBA season to prepare for the Paris Olympics with France, and Atlanta's roster spot she'd held was scooped up by Golden State in that year's expansion draft; she signed with the Valkyries in July 2025. Her younger brother, Rayan, plays in the NBA for Portland, making them one of the rare sibling pairs active in both leagues at once.
