Jackson-Jones is the only player in Texas Longhorns history with 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 300 steals, and 150 blocks, and went fifth overall to New York in 2007. After a breast cancer diagnosis in 2015, she returned to play professionally in Israel and with the Sparks before her passing in 2024 at age 37, a loss still felt across the sport.
